We measure your progress

With our course schedule, you can choose the number of lessons that you will attend each week depending on the goals you have set for yourself. You can combine more than one course during your stay, prepare for a DELF examination, or obtain another internationally recognised certificate at any time.

All our courses have been carefully structured with the aim of facilitating the development of communicative skills. Held in mini-groups with not more than 12 people, they are designed to meet your expectations and help you improve your current levels of skill, whether for personal, academic or business reasons. We offer courses at all the various levels, from beginners to advanced.

To help you get the maximum benefit from your course, you will sit a comprehensive assessment test when you arrive. This will help us place you in a class that is suitable for your level. We will then follow your progress and suggest a change of level if this becomes necessary.

In order to help you get the most out of the lessons, we will give you a thorough evaluation test as soon as you arrive. We will then be able to place you in a group that's perfectly adapted to your level. Your progress is then carefully monitored, and we will suggest class changes if we feel that this would be beneficial

The study centre

The study centre in Lyon is situated in the heart of the city, a district classified as world heritage by UNESCO. The building, whose 19th century architecture is typical of the Lyonnaise region, is only a short walk from shopping malls, a number of cafés and restaurants not to mention both bus and metro stations. The school boasts eight spacious classrooms and a multimedia centre fully equipped with free Internet and wireless facilities.
At the Study centre, you’ll study in small groups and benefit from a modern, lively and dynamic teaching programme perfectly tailored to meet the demands of modern life and the needs of our students. All our teachers work in their mother tongue, are qualified, and regularly participate in training sessions. This continuous training enables our teaching staff to keep up to date with all the advances in teaching methodology, and to offer you the very best in terms of foreign language courses.

Leisure programme

Lyon propose a wide choice of sports and cultural activities all years round also boasts amusement parks, museums, a wide choice of sports facilities, indoor and outdoor, mountain or water based, excursions on land and on water, concerts and cultural events of all kinds and to suit all tastes, as well as a multitude of other activities that you can discover by studying in Lyon.
In order to help you make the most of these leisure activities, we have an enormous amount of information on everything that’s available in the area, and we are always on hand to help make bookings or with membership applications (e.g. for a health club).
In order to help you to discover Lyon and the surrounding area, we offer excursions and activities led by a member of the school staff once a week during the low season and twice during July and August. These include visit of the old town of Lyon, the Fourvière Hill with the famous Basilica, boat trip on the Rhône and the Sâone and of course a dinner in a typical "Bouchon". These activities take place at the beginning of the week and are not included in the course price.

Host family

Being immersed in the culture of a country is without doubt one of the best ways to learn the language. Living with a host family means getting to know the way of life of the people of Lyon from the inside, their customs, culinary habits and having an enriching experience. It's also the chance to practise French daily in an authentic context. The families are carefully selected by our partner school. Living around 10-40 minutes away from the school, you will stay in a double or single room with half board provided.
